Princeton Real Estate California     Princeton by the Sea is less known to Bay Area residents than other towns, but it is well known in the local area for fish and for its local streets named after famous colleges. It is one of the string of small towns on the coast between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. It has about 15,000 residents.      Its location and harbor made the village a prime destination for illegal liquor during Prohibition, but today its Pillar Point Harbor serves recreational boaters and professional fishermen. If you love fresh fish, this harbor is like heaven, offering freshly-caught fish, right off the fishermen's boats, at a fraction of the price you would pay at a local store. Close to the marina area, the Mezza Luna Restaurant is known for its great food.     Half Moon Bay and highway 92 are a short drive to the south. Highway 92 accesses the west bay cities bordering San Francisco Bay and the East Bay via the San Mateo Bridge. San Francisco is about a 40 minute drive to the north, through Devil's Slide, a section of Highway 1 which hugs the cliffs and is closed a few times a year due to rock slides, usually following a storm.     Our town offers quiet coastal living with easy access to the cities around the bay.
