The man decided to turn his attention to housing development instead of farming, leading him to create housing subdivisions and to endow a school and a library. Don't miss the old favorite restaurant Joe's of Westlake, and you can take the kids to the movies at the giant Century 20 multiplex on Junipero Serra Boulevard. BART is your local connection to cities in the Bay Area from the peninsula and San Francsico all the way to the delta in northern Contra Costa county and south to southern Alameda county.
